Shipping from USA to Ajijic via Estafeta Empty Shipping from USA to Ajijic via Estafeta

In December I purchased a tablet computer on bestbuy.com and had it shipped to Ajijic via Estafeta, which specialises in shipping USA to Mexico. Best Buy offers free shipping so shipped the computer to Esatfeta in Houston they in turn delivered to my door in Ajijic, a uniformed Estafeta employee had me sign electronically at the door. The total shipping cost was $45.00 for up to 10 lbs, no duty taxes etc, and only took a few days to get here. Estafeta also offers insurance on goods if desired. I was very satisfied with the entire process and will use them again.

I thought the Estafeta U.S. office was in Laredo? That is not important, what is though is to check with their office, talk or email to their Customs Clearance person, before you order. It is often a surprise what they will or will not ship.

If you check the website, yes there is also an office in Loredo, I spoke with a shipping agent in advance to fully understand what the costs were, for my computer there was no other costs just $45.00 total. Other items may be different just check with the Estafeta agent for details.
