New Year’s Resolutions for Inside Lakeside Postings

My New Year’s Resolutions for Inside Lakeside postings:

1. I will continue to ignore the narcissistic prattling of any mean-spirited, bullying, ignorant, contentious poster just looking to hurt and fight.
2. Just because I do not like a poster’s politics or personality I will not immediately discount everything s/he says on every topic.
3. Unless the topic is politics, I will leave politics out of my posts.
4. I will remain aware of the difference between opinion and fact.
5. I will remember that if I like or dislike something or someone, people who feel differently are not necessarily ignorant, stupid, barbaric or crazy.
6. I will keep in mind that behind screen names and avatars are living, feeling human beings (in most cases).
