It is man who screws up dogs and some folks screw them up much more. My
mother always told about dealing with all kinds of dogs during the 50s at
Jackson labs where your scientific white rats come from. She said the feral
dogs were much easier to understand and deal with than the ones exposed
to humans. I find the pit bulls down here much more trustworthy than what
I found up north for the most part. Draw your own opinion. I don't want to
get into this fight.

Had a husky rescue once. I was afraid of them since one had killed and eaten my dog when I was a little girl in Alaska. When I found him and brought him home he tried to kill my cats. I put him on a leash 24/7 and he was always attached to a person. Anytime he even flicked his ears in the direction of a cat he got a correction (sharp tug on leash and "No!". After 2 weeks he was as gentle as a kitten. Never once bothered any of the 5 cats in any way. He was so gentle we could leave him alone in the house with the cats and NOTHING ever happened. Please don't judge all dogs by the actions of a few. Hundreds of people own "dangerous" breeds and you never hear about how gentle and safe they are. You only ever hear about the tragedies. If you don't know the correct way to train a dog of any breed then please don't adopt one. Bob knows what he is doing and will do it responsibly.

PS Cesar has 2 pits he uses, Daddy is getting old now so he also takes Junior, one of Daddy's pups.

I've been attacked and bitten by 3 different dogs in my lifetime. All three were POODLES! A teacup, a toy and a standard. I do not like poodles. Should they all be put down?

We ran a boarding facility for horses and dogs.

Never had a problem with the dogs.

Some of the owners were a different story. Beer

Yes NOB I would not trust a Pit Bull unless I knew the owner. I live with three
street pit bulls on our street down here. I step over them when they are sleeping.
Key to dogs is humans always being alpha (lead dog). If you are
not alpha than yep you are in danger. I know horses are very different in
Mexico than NOB due to training. Can Mexican dogs be different due to training?
The Mexicans do throw rocks and hit the street dogs when they do
something wrong down here. Yes I know the data Seisdedos and yes I do
fear pit bulls NOB but have found nothing but sweet dogs down here. Why?
