Gas fireplace log

John or anyone else...Can you recommend a plumber to assemble and install a gas fireplace log.
Tried the plumber recommended by Strom Moving as their installation guy and he missed 3 straight appointments...so, giving up on him.
Thanks in advance for any recommends.

I used to fix my gas fireplace as well as all plumbing & electricity.

I built several houses with gas Fireplace Logs
Make sure you block the chimney to keep the heat from escaping

You need to know whether it's a ventless gas log or a vented one. If you block the chimney on the wrpng pne, you'll suffocate. I have never heard of blocking the chimney on either type.

I did make the assumption that it was a ventless
I have been the builder & installed many of these, some with detecters.
I have also used the Dlonghi gas heaters with no problems
I bought five of the new Everheat from Home Depot and had problems with three on changing the levels of heat

But, if you don't block the chimney, you get very little effect
