Tortas Ahogadas Aquí Es

This is the name of the hole-in-wall tortas place on Colon where I first tried this delight.

Well it's no longer there, but has moved to the west (Ocampo #128) and also available on Traitte.

Today we got both the camarones and the carnitas (most tender pork of all the tortas places we have had).

Here's a pic before we added the accompanying picked onions and soaked in the broths and hot sauces.  The broth for the shrimp torta is different than the typical torta broth.

Very generous servings!
