Is it cooked through? I ask because I can’t bear pink pork.

No pink seen.

So far of all the tortas ahogadas we've tried, this place has the tenderest pork. At 55p each, they are a delicious bargain.

Very fast delivery today via Traitte.

fyi, we eat as a French Dip which is why I prefer having them at home. Put the sauce in a soup bowl, the dip to soften each bite. Yum!

Is this a taco stand on the service Rd.?

Google maps show the address of "Carretera Oriente #46, Ajijic, Mexico" (on their FB page) as Charter Club.  There is/was a taco stand just in front.

Can you narrow down the location?  I'm hungry.

You will have to wait for tomorrow....like many places they sell tortas ahogadas from mid morning to early or mid afternoon.

Their address per Traitte is Carretera Oriente 35.  Google map shows it behind Pemex.  Not sure if that's right or wrong, we always get deliveries.

Hours on Traitte say Wed-Mon. 9 to 12:50 (but till 13:25 on Sat. and Sun.). These are Traitte delivery times and opening hours may be different.

Oatsie....I just saw this photo at their FB page....sure looks like gas pumps in front of seating!

Yes, this is right beside the Comex store just East of the Pemex pumps.

They are now serving Tortas de Camarones. Lighter brighter dipping sauce. Avocado slices in the birotte along with the shrimp. Nice change of pace.
