Another large quake in Oaxaca

We are in Mexico city when the quake happened in Oacaca.  We are in chinatown and thousands of people for the new year are in the streets.  First alarms went off and we were just about to enter the elevator when hotel staff moved us to the street. Some people had a look of panic on faces. Quite an experience for a PNW boy. I understand better now. We had an aftershock an hour later but the alarms did not go off this time. I felt kinda stupid afterwards as I didn't know what was happening at first and I should have known.

You tube has this guy Dutchsinse putting up daily 10 pm reviews of recent quakes & volcano action.what is going on 'round the world, more than the Ring of Fire right now.. He is a bit cheeky, quite informative, as graphics are great & demonstrate how alive the planet is...eye wide open!
