Container Food Place

. . .or whatever their name is, goofy concept for a restaurant IMHO.

BUT, I'm loving their sushi! Been twice in the past week. Others seem to be enjoying the burgers and other items. The menu is eclectic and looks good.

I doubt they will be around too much longer though, not many people eating there when I've been there and they have a large overhead. I asked 'how's biz?' and got 'mas o menos'. They look a bit worried.

So, if you like this restaurant, go and eat there! If you haven't tried it, try it!

I guess it is the "food court" concept. Same thing that Jus Chillin was trying. I better get there to try out this Sushi.

Sold!! Then for dessert I can stop at the Poutine place on the way home......

What Tabacone described looks like what I saw people enjoying also, margaritas DO look good.

Bob, be sure and tell them to hold the cheese in the sushi, unless you like it that way.

Now that I know you can order the sushi without cream cheese I need to revisit that part of the menu.

They also stock an interesting beer selection.

Yes. And they were very, very accommodating with my food restrictions, which always endears me to a restaurant and makes me a loyal customer.

You can get the sushi any way you want. The only thing to note is they don't use real sticky-kind sushi rice but it's Mexico and I am grateful anyway! Enjoy.

I was in there recently to get an order to go. They told me that I could call the order in and they would deliver. I haven't tried that yet, but appreciated the offer.

We have those, we call them puestos.

Another great meal at this place; we had tostadas, sushi, guacamole and totopos, and an awesome roasted salsa made at the table in the molcajete! Highly recommend that if you haven't had it yet.

Gotta support this place.

It's located at Hidalgo 456, Riveras Del Pilar 50 mts from the 7-11. I have not been, but if you like it and want to save it, I suggest giving a rating and review on TripAdvisor. So far it only has one.

The Dog Ranch is having a fund raiser at the Food Lake Container restaurant on
Tuesday March 7. It will be a buffet and a good opportunity to sample many items on their menu.
