More than 40,000 people march in Mexico City to reject plans to overhaul tax system and privatisation of energy sector.

and tens of thousands of teachers, protesting in most states.. there is a call for a national strike for thursday.

he's not privatising the energy sector. he's allowing foreign investment in pemex so it can be modernized and make more money fer mexico. that should have been done years ago. both PRI and PAN are in agreement.

Foreign investment and privatization has same result........the primary focus then becomes profit for corporate stock holders and overpaid CEO's and not the needs of the people.

Well look what Pemex is doing for (to?) the Mexicans now - month over month rising gas prices with no end in sight given their dwindling reserves.
