Miguel Miramontes Sculpture unveiling

Very nice ceremony on the plaza to unveil the sculpture Maestro Miguel Miramontes Carmona donated to the village of Ajijic.
Maestro Miramontes is a renown artist who was born in Guadalajara in 1920.  It is a very big honor to have this piece in Ajijic and it will be on display at the Cultural Center on the plaza.

It is a beautiful piece called "the survivalists" (I think).  It is intended to represent the perseverance of the family in Mexico.
