Dr. Hector Briseno Garcia, Cardiologo

Dr. Hector Briseno Garcia is from GDL, 38, works from the Integrity clinic @ Plaza Interlago. I was extremely impressed when his Receptionist called @ 10:00AM, to advise they were running 15 minutes behind, and our 11:30 apt was moved back to 12:00, and apologized!
Just like NOB...Gawd I'm crackin my self up!

Wife had a stress test, Echotest, lasted 2 hours, me EKG and physical evaluation, 1 hour. He told me I had minor issues that could become major if I didn't maintain a lower Blood pressure. I asked if he had to remove my heart, as at times Deb says I don't have one!

All kidding aside, We have found a cardiologist we are comfortable with, and you should do the same! Price should never be an issue, when it comes to well being! Off my soapbox now! 

We use Integrity Clinic also.
They called one morning to say that Dra Lupita had been called out on an emergency and could my 89 yr old mother-in-law make a later appointment.
Too late, my wife and her mum were on their way.
When they got there, the receptionist said not to worry, the doctora would make a house call later in the day.
Which she did and all was well.
The only time a doctor came to my house NOB was when he happened to be a family friend.

Glad you and Deb got a check up. And Dr. B is the best. I hope he gave you something to get the blood pressure under control.

Dr. Lupita will make a house call any time. After my foot surgery in Dec. I got a nasty bug in the hospital so she brought the surgeon to my house in SJC to change the bandage at 9:30 pm!

Another vote for Dr. Briseno from me and my husband! He's the best!

Remember all He is the diagnostic technician, not the cutter.  People seem to forget early diagnosis, in many cases, eliminates the need for a cutter, or worse!

I thought he did surgery Jim. Am I wrong about that?

I had cardiac problems and Dr. Briseño said "we can fix this" and he did. EKG is normal and I am a happy camper.

my wife was very happy with his treatment of her problems. i keep changing cardiologists like underwear. i have one now that does surgery- through santiago. so instead of a cardio diagnostic guy,i have santiago and jose who does the surgery. he works with virgen at del carmen but will slice and dice ya at other smaller hospitals too. it seems the cardios that come here and have offices here are only the diagnosticians and do not do any surgery. sometimes that's all ya need though,if yer lucky

Dr. Briseño is a cardiac surgeon as is his father, Dr. Briseño senor.

I thought Dr. B is a heart surgeon and his father.

As far as I know Dr. Briseno is what they call here a HEMODYNAMIC SPECIALIST(Hemodinamista) which means he can do Cardiac Catheterizations and place Pacemakers as well as do other diagnostics.
The only OPEN HEART SURGEONS I know and refer to are based out of CENTRO MEDICO in Zapopan.
From what I have read and understood Dr. Briseno underwent similar training as the Cardiac Cath doctor I refer to, Dr. Salas. Dr. Salas my opinion, he is very gifted when it comes to placing stents. VERY GIFTED.
I have patients who do like Dr. Briseno.  I tell them if they have a good rapport with a doc, then they should stick with him/her.
 
As a primary care doc, I like docs who are open to working in a team approach for the greater good of the patient. Egos often get in the way of good healthcare in my humble opinion.

Are you saying that Dr. Briseno´s ego gets in the way of providing good health care? If you are not, you should be more careful about how you word your promotion of Dr. Salas. You might want to clarify that not all doctors who refuse to team up with other doctors do so because of ego. I am sure you know the many other reasons better than I do.

I don't know and haven't met Dr. Briseno. I only know what my patients have told me about him and what is stated on his web page. So that comment is not meant to reflect on him.  

I simply stated that I prefer to work with docs in the manner I stated.

Thank you for the clarification. By including your last statement in with your comment on Dr. Briseno it could have led some people to think you were referring to him which would have been unfortunate. Good to know that the comment on your preference for which doctors you work with had nothing to do with the previous paragraph about Dr. Briseno.
