Don or Dolly Parton?
This is Dolly Parton's "Jolene" slowed down from 45 to 33. It's kind of strange, in a way, in context of the lyrics. It opens the song up to a whole new audience!

Re: Don or Dolly Parton?
I found this intriguing but, to my ear, the vocals ended up sounding somewhat androgynous. So, I wondered, what if we reduced the tempo but preserved the pitch?
I grabbed a FLAC copy of the song, reduced the tempo to 73.33% of the original (equivalent to playing a 45 RPM at 33 RPM) but kept the same pitch so the song is still in its original key and Dolly sounds like Dolly.
You can decide for yourself which you prefer.
