Garbage collection in Lower Riberas

I am used to the missed days but the last pick up I had in L Riberas was a week ago yesterday. The neighbors bins are all full as well. Anyone else have this issue or know if the truck broke down or?

Thanks. They finally picked up late yesterday afternoon. Guess it is a crap shoot when they will do another pickup.

Tuesday, huh? Today is garbage day for me, unless maybe they've changed things...

Had a chat with Aseo Publico (Sanitation Dept.) chief Mauro Michel just yesterday...he commented that with four garbage trucks in the shop for repairs he's tearing his hair out trying to keep pick-up service on track. Let's be patient and helpful by not leaving bags out on the street overnight to tempt prowling animals.

So do I (Gee Pedro! I really hate to agree with you) Maybe more people will move into Chapala. We are not the forgotten!

Hey Pedro,

I lived across from the bus station on F. Madero in the '90's and don't remember daily basura pickup. Is this recently that they do this on a daily basis?

for the 7 years that we have been here

Daily trash service depends on where you live in Chapala. Centro and along the carraterra is 6-7 day service. Other parts not so much.
