Cigarettes Empty Cigarettes

Post by hkrause Tue Aug 06, 2013 6:30 pm

We have company who wants to buy some cigarettes here. Since hubby and I don't smoke, we're clueless on where to shop, what brand/type to look for, and what price to expect. She's looking for a Light 100 of some sort (she smokes "Echo" brand NOB). Can somebody point me in the right direction and tell me what to ask for?

Thanks!

Prices are pretty much identical.....everywhere. OXXO, 7-11, There is a store in Chapala that sells by the carton W 10% discount on West side of Madero....near the candy store.....sorry can't provide more. Avoid buying cigs @ Soriano and Walmart.....limited supplies on hand, most are locked up and a PITA.

It's probably best is she tries several different brands. Start with Marlboro Blanco Cien (lite 100's) and Benson and Hedges. Maybe Pell Mell, they're the least expensive. You can buy cartons at Superlake and PAZ.

She only needs a few packs, I think. Leaving Friday morning, so no need to test a variety of options. She ran out today and we picked some up from Farmacia Guad since I was there getting some meds. Very limited options, and since I didn't know what to ask for we ended up with Marlboro's at $43 per pack. Good price or bad?? I have no point of reference.

Is there some Mexican brand we should ask for that are less expensive but similar to a NOB light 100?

Thanks for the input.

The 43 pesos / pack is the correct price and pretty standard for a pack of 20.
Amazingly down here you can by packs of lesser than 20 also, I think it was 14 cigarettes in a box. OXXO has a pretty good selection.
