My Recent Experience with UPS
I called UPS Toll Free line on Thursday for a pick up. I did the standard stuff, gave them size of boxes in cm and weight in kg and filled out the "Waybills" for each box.
Because it's an International Shipment, you must fill out a Commercial Invoice. Here is what UPS told me, "you can list all your boxes on one "Commercial Invoice" with the required 5 copies, NOT TRUE. When the driver arrived, he would not accept the packages because you MUST fill out one Commercial Invoice for EACH package "UNSIGNED" and make 5 copies. You then sign the original and all 5 copies for eac box.
Meanwhile 12 boxes, 5 copies of each invoice, 60 copies and 60 signatures later, we finished in 2 hours only to have the driver not return.

Sounds like a real pain in the gloots and makes me want to ship absolutely nothing.

I use Fedex exclusively but yesterday had to send for an apostille from Pennsylvania and Fedex nor DHL pick up from the government building. When checking to see options for returning the package to me, UPS using an account in Mexico was US $20 MORE, I opened a US UPS account and paid $20 less, still more than Fedex.

I see Estafeta USA distribution center in Laredo is in the same neighborhood with the MBE collection facility on Bob Bullock Ave.

What happened to NC, or do you pass through MA on the way there?
