Kidnappers arrested

Six cartel members ( didn't say which one) were arrested for their participation in the kidnapping of a businessman from Jocotepec On February 4th of this year. The kidnapped guy escaped....they didn't say in the article that it was Oscar of the tire store but that has to be who the victim was, considering the dates and circumstances .

Two of the six were ex municipal police, one from Chapala and one from Joco. The comandante Arco de Perez
Says that , just to clear things up, the Chapala cop resigned from the force on January 28 2013 (Oscar was kidnapped about a week later) . Point being, I suppose, is that he was not a member of the Vhapala force at the time of the kidnapping.

hey were found in Cancun where they went to kill some other people, but did not for whatever reason....



One of the men had been convicted of homocide in 2010.


It is presumed that they are involved in more crimes and are being investigated.

One of the kidnappers who kidnapped the 2 women teachers also were found in Cancun, woner if it is the same group. So much for the Yucatan Peninsula being quiet.

I couldn't find a mention of a murder conviction in the written article.

I have a hard copy of La Pagina and that's where all of this info comes from. I just posted the Milenio article because it hada video and the La Pagina link was not yet up last night., but the mention of the murder conviction is in that link.

.................After plagiarizing both women, the kidnappers called the family of teachers and demanded money in exchange for respect them life. On March 18, the affected unspecified ransom delivered in Guadalajara-Jiquilpan cruise-Tixcueca-Mazamitla.
The alleged kidnappers did not respect the agreement and on March 25 the teachers were located dead in the Cerro La Cruz, on a gap that leads to the town of Los Limones.
The State Attorney's Office conducted a series of research and discovered that the April 4 the same band plagiarized a businessman who escaped.
Also, the dependence met the alleged kidnappers, including two former police officers, traveled to Cancun in order to kill a person, so that established coordination with police managed to arrest Quintana Roo and early April.

It is amazing how any kidnapper had just happened to leave the police force the week before their crimes. Maybe the police should be careful and not let their officers leave so as to stop crimes!?

Really. . . So much for the concept of vetting. Thw woman who was car jacked for her Jeep in Joco a few years ago said the guy took her to the ground with two fingers to a neck muscle, was wearing steel toed boots and used a 9 milimeter. Not much doubt who they were anymore.

Four men arrested last weekend in Cancun have been identified as prime suspects in a recent double kidnapping-murder case at lakeside.

Media outlets in the resort city reported that the suspects were nabbed at a downtown hotel in the early hours of Sunday, April 7 by Quintana Roo state police backed by Mexican Army troops. The alleged criminals were pegged as members of the Milenio drug cartel, booked under the names Victor Hugo Marquez Cortes, 23, Mauricio Gomez Reyes, 32, Carlos Gerardo Rivera Ortega, 29, and Said Rodriguez Piña, 38...
