This started in 2011. Silk Road, a company which facilitates the sale of illegal materials, mostly drugs, in a completely untraceable TOR internet shell, and completely untraceable 'bitcoins'. The company facilitates sales of $1.7 million per month, and the value of all the bitcoins issued in the world, in a floating currency market, is currently $800 million U.S. The bitcoin system is expanding rapidly in the underground economy - including Mexico.
