Hacienda del Pedro
my friends tell me their group was turned away the other night. The workers have not been paid and the food supply is getting low (did not have enough food for this size group). Vendors are not paid either.

Plus four months late in rent so I'm told. That place is run by Pedro Arellano, so I wouldn't go near it with a barge pole.

Another restaurant is going to go down the tubes. Rightfully so under those conditions. Guess it's gotta be off our Dinner Group's list.

Food and service were getting worse and worse, a sinking ship, we went for a Rotary Club luncheon the other week and were turned away.

Re: Hacienda del Pedro
It´s a shame to see a large roadhouse facility of this size founder over and over again since its first incarnation as a tacky, two bit Italian pasta joint a few years ago and subsequent re-incarnations as cheesy steakhouses and now, as I witnessed today at about 2:00PM. a cavernous, empty dining hall serving the same gruel as the previous owners of the space.
Joec (John) stood by this place for a long time and I commend him for trying to give them a boost but they seem to have lost all interest. Time to move on or for them to get their act together. I wish them the best of luck. I can walk there from my house and hoped they would succeed. Maybe they will - we´ll see.
