Looking to buy compact car (automatic w/Mx plates)

Hi All.

We’re trying to help a friend with a car search, and we haven’t had much success.

We have tried a number of places…
*multiple web sites (not very effective, many outdated posts)
*used car dealerships in Guadalajara
*searching lakeside from Chapala to Jocotepec
*searching Poncitlan and Ocotlan
*calling a relative that works for a Ford dealership in the city
*calling a close Chapala friend that is a mechanic
*just keeping our eyes peeled for cars with a dollar sign in the window
*S & S seems to be a bit out of the price range for this purchase

I thought it couldn’t hurt to describe what exactly she would like to purchase on the web board. Perhaps someone on here is thinking of selling a car that fits the description, or knows of someone selling. Any leads or helpful suggestions are greatly appreciated!!!

Musts…
*automatic transmission
*air conditioning
*light exterior color
*compact
*Mexican plated
*$50,000 pesos absolute max budget

In Guadalajara they have a huge car swap meet where everyone brings their cars to sell. There are hundreds of cars for sale there. I know how to get there but don't know the street names. Perhaps one of the other members know?

We have been to the car tiangis in Guadalajara a couple of years ago to purchase my own car.

If no other ideas turn up on the web board, we will plan another trip to the city.
