I was lost but now I'm found...
Our crummy old car was stolen in Chapala just before Christmas. Husband had actually locked the doors for a change. Kids likely took it on a joy ride. Our friend, Trailrunner, had suggested we make a poster and hand it out to people who might drive around town. So I did. Today Juan Pablo, our Katya water guy, found the car. About 6 blocks from where Husband parked it. He came and got me, drove me there and I took the car home. And gave him a nice reward.

Same shape it was in before. We'll take it over to the mechanic for a check up but looks like they just drove it to a party or to see their girlfriend and then drove it back to a few blocks from where they "found" it.

C´mon, Flamingo. Dawg did not just arrive on the cambion de nabe. The car was six blocks from where your husband "thought" he parked it? Dawg understands this event implicitly having had ghostly jovenes joy ride in my car even after I studiously locked it and leave it six blocks from where I absolutely remember having parked it so many times over the past 50 years from Birmingham to San Francisco to Guadalajara that, I swear, they are following me around and will never leave me in peace. Little sumbitches.

I wondered that as well, but it was found on a short dead-end street that I doubt he could have found driving around looking for a parking place.
