Yep, that is the forecast. It would be nice to "green up" things a bit before my next round of winter guests arrive.........jajaja.

It has already made it to SJC. Allegedly no sun until late this week. This is not good news for everyone with the flu in the village.

Hadn't even thought of that, but yes, it is cold enough at those altitudes. Yikes.

Weather.com weather map shows it all across Mexico. Too bad for those who have holiday guests. It's a bummer.

We sometimes get a bad spell of weather in January.

I have 8 people down from Joco and we had two perfect beach days. Been raining since 10am and will hurt the tourist business and may effect our Festival del Mar and the evening music in the plaza

Anywhere around here with enough altitude for snow, or is that elsewhere?

Duh! I think I said that a few posts ago. They don't call it el Nevado for nothing.

Heather is new to the area and may not even realize there is a volcano in Colima?

Beautiful picture... thanks! Yes, I knew about the volcano at Colima, but wasn't sure if that's the one that got snow.

We’ve had considerable rain. It may in a small way help the Lake but the adverse effect is local Holiday business. We attended a restaurant that was supposedly totally booked but from my point of view there were a many that did not show. People when you make a promise please keep it, this affects their lives!!!

Pouring over here in Puerto Vallarta and it has been raining since probably shortly after midnight. Rain in the forecast until the weekend but we can use it and the rain against the windows sounds wonderful. Thankfully it's not cold over here, I hate it when it's cold and it rains, the dampness is chilling. My sister and brother in law are coming today from Chicago, it's 9 degrees in Chicago so I don't think they will mind the rain. Enjoy, and hope everyone has a wonderful New Year.
