Got Aphids?

How are you dealing with them?

Around our garden here, I use a mixture of liquid dish soap and water in maybe a 1 to 15 mix. Never measure - I just do a guesstimate and spray the leaves and body of the plant. As long as you don't get immediate rain, one application does the trick.

That has worked for us as well...but we added cooking oil to the mix (at the one ratio as well)...1 liquid dish soap, 1 oil and 15 water.

Good remedies all, besides just keep blowing them off with the spray nostle of your garden hose. In the past, I have planted, from seed, a few fava/broadbean plants off to the side. Aphids LOVE them and will gravitate there. Good luck on ever eating a bean. Lady Bugs live on aphids.
