A few years back I had what my Dr. diagnosed as the worst case of tinnitus that he had ever heard of. For four days, round the clock, I had a live band in my head doing "Turkey in the Straw", at about time and a half, and FULL VOLUME! Crazy or what? OK, crazy. But you guys are hearing things too!

I don't care if it rains or freezes, just so long as I have my...........

I have had tinnitus for about 20 yrs & I find low volume music very comforting. Never had a hit tune with my self generated music, always some crickets trying to have a reunion

"Turkey in the straw" was not my idea! I did however, intentionally play Golden Earring's album with "Radar Love" continuously, on a round trip from TO to New Brunswick. Made good time.

It's an intentionally stupid song and he really hams it up on video.

You folks with the noise in your ears if it gets too bad go get help they do have
some treatments these days. Most older folks who have led real lives do have
some ringing. Most of it we ignore. If you go to some place perfectly quiet like
a windless day in the desert I think many of you would be surprised beyond
your heartbeat what you would hear.

The ceiling fans drive me nuts...they all move the air and create music in my head. Bless foam ear plugs.
