35th Annual Mexican National Chili Cook-Off
The planning for the 2013 35th Annual Mexican National Chili Cook-off is well underway. I have volunteered to be their new webmaster and graphic designer. You can get a sneak peak at the new website at: www.mexicannationalchilicookoff.com
It is still under construction so most of the buttons don't work yet however the home page basic information and application form is there.
Thanks to Monarch Hosting Services for donating the hosting for the website.
Here is the new logo for this years events:

Congratulations Bob!
I'm sure this year will be even better than last.
A great cause that raises major amounts for charity.

PS No rain this year OK

Are you sure that it is this year? I was told it wont be until next year, perhaps in February. Bob also posted that it will be in 2013hockables wrote:SunFan wrote:Congratulations Bob!

Pete:
It must have been all that high tech discussion on electricity that woke you up to the nuances of the calendar!
By the way - who out-dueled who on the BS slung about Mexican electricity?

I was just being an A-hole. But I couldn't resist :) And Neil, darn it, , I think our friend knows more about electricity than I do. But I wont admit it. I'm too insecure to do that.

Pete:
Given the circumstances stated by the OP, the answers were just a bunch of "good ole boys" trying to prove how much they thought they knew. Isn't it simpler to provide the basic answer necessary and leave it at that? The only problems we have experienced during our fairly extensive travels is not having enough plugins in our hotel rooms and I have now learned to carry a long cord with multiple plugs.

Re: 35th Annual Mexican National Chili Cook-Off
The home cooked division is full however we still have spots for a few restaurants. For those wanting to still enter you could find a restaurant to team up with and enter in that category.
