As with most things in life, comparisons can be relative to one's point of reference. Australian humor is taking this issue to a new level:

"Hotel to be built in former Tasmanian morgue":

"DEAD tired? Killing for a holiday? This new hotel could be just the place for you.

A Tasmanian entrepreneur plans to turn a former morgue into a hotel. But don’t expect plush bedding or a soft pillow. No, this place will keep the terrazzo stone slabs and wooden head rests used by the deceased.

“We’re hoping to attract the unusual,” owner Hayden Pearce told ABC news. “I don’t believe there is another morgue in the world to be offered as accommodation.”

Well, not to living guests anyway.

The hotel in Willow Court will feature bunk beds that pull out from the fridge. And the main suite is to die for.

“Here we have the dissection table, which I guess is our main suite,” Mr Pearce told the ABC.......

Not to be outdone for oddball hotel accommodations, the Tubo Hotel has opened in Tepoztlán, Morelos, Mexico:

Should this be called more dumb ideas with millionaires with nothing better to do with their money? Maybe they should get real and try donating to the less fortunate "the poor".

Sounds like a comment a Liberal might make?

It's a comment from someone with common sense, which many of you don't have.

If I understand you correctly, you have common sense. Is that right John?

Well I can tell you that the beds at the Hotel Royalty in Puebla could give these beds a run for their money in terms of hardness. During our tour of Tecali de Herrera, I thought we had a fairly good grasp of products made there but we must have missed: mattresses filled with oinx y marmol!
