Lots of sirens in west Ajijic
There have been quite a few sirens on the careterra in west Ajijic. I saw a police truck heading toward Joco at a very high rate of speed a couple of hour ago.
Re: Lots of sirens in west Ajijic
We saw five unmarked dodge pickups heading the same direction at different times.

Re: Lots of sirens in west Ajijic
Grey, Black, Blue... each was different. Non-official looking pickups with loud sirens and single dash lights. All about the same year of dodge ram. Not marked at all. Windows were fairly dark. Five total. four passed us heading West near West ajijic and we met one near hole in one headed also headed west. Only two were travelling together. All using their sirens and lights. Late morning hours. Also saw one Chapala police vehicle headed West with siren and lights. No idea who the unmarked pickups belonged to. Estado, Federal or DEA????

We were out about 1:30 PM and saw 3 vehicles, two police trucks from Chapala (white, blue. orange) up by the Junky Monkey heading West at a fair amount of speed.
The color of the trucks, blue or black, determine whether it's Federales or Estatal. I won't say as I get them mixed up.

Regular non-official colors on the trucks. Just like your neighbors PU truck including dust and mud. Nothing official at all.

Yes, there is the municipal police, federal police, state police who prevent crimes then once a crime is committed the investigative police, a branch of the ministerio publico, both state and federal investigate. I was at the investigative police´s office in Chapala last week and they had trucks like that.

We were just over there, and there seemed to be quite a bit of activity around the police station, however I have no idea why.

does any of this really matter? except for entertainment? why do you have to know everything, especially if its not about you. if it makes you feel beter, ok its IS about you. (there is noise all day long, whats the difference if its an ambulance or a police truck).

Voluntarily, or as a result of court order?
