I don't know if they're still open or not, were last I saw tho. It's called Oh Shirt and it's on the carretera between Chapala and San Nicolas. Closer to Chapala and on the opposite side of the street than the lake. There are a group of businesses in the area you might ask around in that area. Suerte.

I understand they are closed permanently. One of the local thrift stores has the heavy duty sewing machines for sale from there.

Certainly not as easy to get to, but I go to a Yazbek outlet in Guadalajara. Shirts are 100% Cotton and a better fit for me. 80 or 90 pesos a shirt includes the logo stitching. OhShirt uses a cotton/synthetic blend, and their shirts have tails. However, they will make them with pockets.

Oh Shirt will make anything you want, if you give them the design and will measure your actual body. Really nice people and locals who need our business. I'm sure I could find a tech expert in Guadalajara too, but I choose to give my business to locals.

Apples and oranges, I think. One goes with who one likes. I personally never liked their material, the fact that they wouldn't change the golf-shirt pattern for me to get rid of the "tail" (while at the same time suggesting they'll make anything you want), and the shrinkage.

I found that taking someone with me that is fluent in Espanol is a good idea, for more complex instructions out of the ordinary. For regular things my limited Espanol works. The jeffa knows very little English. If you actually took a look around, you would have seen that they make many more things than shirts. Pure cotton will shrink far more than a cotton/poly mix, technically speaking. They close early on Fridays.

Of course I took a look around; I have been familiar with the place for many years. And in terms of shrinkage, it depends to a great extent on the quality of the weave, and then the person that washes it. And their weave doesn't hold up for me.

Decent cotton doesn't shrink. Cheap cotton will.
