Thanks
Re: Big Daddy's New Products
Had an opportunity to try the swedish and curry meatballs at the last Wed. tianguis. Both incredible. Bought a package of curry meatballs. Will be a regular purchaser of these. Excellent products.

Re: Big Daddy's New Products
Those Swedish meatballs are great, as are all the other meatballs. If you're feeling like a meatloaf sammich, heat up a few, plop 'em in a bun and you are THERE.
I'm such a fan of Big Daddy's stuff because I love all those sausage things, but most commercial products are full of so much......uh......"undesirable additives" that they're not fit to eat.

Re: Big Daddy's New Products
I would like to thank all the members for coming out today to support us and to try our new products.
We sold out of the smoked Turkey Legs, smoked Salmon and the corned beef and Canadian Bacon were big hits. Everybody seemed to like them a lot.
Once again, thanks for your support, and remember that Lil Mama will be on location at the Wednesday Tianguis in Ajijic with samples of all our new products.

Three of my favorite meats in the whole world are Lamb (1), smoked Turkey legs (2), corned beef (3); will you be selling the smoked turkery, and corned beef in the stores where you now sell your sausages?? If not can I order from you personally.
I currently in the last two years have purchaseg smoked Turkey legs at Wall-mart because I was so hard up.

They were pretty good. We had one on Sunday while watching the NFL and it went down pretty good with beer. LOL

We will have these products at the Monday Market and Wednesday Tianguis for the next couple of weeks then they will be in the stores. We are waiting for our labels before they can go in the stores.
We do take orders and deliver for free.
We tried the Turkey legs from Wal-Mart and were disappointed. Ours have a better taste. IMO.
Thanks,
Big Daddy

Can the Swedish meatballs be put in their package in simmering water to heat? The material seemed like the old boil-in bag.

No. Actually, I am not sure. Never done that technique before.
As the meatballs are already cooked, it is just as easy to cut a small hole in the corner of the bag and take out what you need. Then put the rest back in the freezer.
They can be heated up in a toaster oven or in a frying pan quite quickly. Do not cook them too much as they will dry out.
Good Luck

Re: Big Daddy's New Products
Here's what I do: Heat the oven to around 180C (around 350F), place the meatballs, unfrozen, on a broiler pan so they can drip and cook them until they're browner, but don't let it go too long or they'll dry out. Around 20 min.
I don't like messing around in a frying pan, turning the little things over and over, etc. Toaster oven probably works, too.

Re: Big Daddy's New Products
OK, thanks. I may put them in one of my Foodsaver bags though & boil them in that. The boil-in bag never makes them taste reheated & they stay juicy that way. I don't have a broiler pan & hate to heat the oven for just that small an amount.
