Frustration with IMSS

We are trying to renew our IMSS, it must be done this month. So far we have been to Jocotepec twice. The first time the computer system was down. Today I got two answers, neither of which were satisfactory. One person told us to come back on Monday, that the system was still down, and all would be fine Monday. Monday, if I'm not mistaken is a holiday. So I went back in and they said they'd be open for sure on Monday, a second person said the system was working perfectly.

Does anyone have any answers? What can we do if they a.) have no functioning computer system or b.) they are not there next week? The only place we can do the paperwork is Jocotepec.

Hire Susana Rodriguez (Immigration lawyer) to do it for you. She made 2 trips to Joco on my behalf and I never even had to go to Joco once, much less Guad.

The other good thing about using Susie is, should there be a problem down the road with IMSS, she will go to bat for you. She's done it before and had the patient reinstated.
