IMO the bomberos and paramedics are the most dedicated professional public servants in Mexico and that's probably true thruout the rest of the world.

Thank you, Viajero! We paramedics appreciate that.

Firemen/Bomberos are always the heros, they are the ones on the front page carrying puppies out of burning buildings while the paramedics are all butts and elbows in the back of a van intubating, dodging vomit and other bodily fluids, starting IVs, shocking, and pushing chemicals into people's veins in desperate attempts to regain pulses in patients all the while standing up in the back of a van while it's flying and bobbing and weaving thru traffic trying to get someone to an OR/ER for definitive treatment. Who gets the front page picture???

But never mind, we know what we do. Very Happy

Kiss a fireman today!

You're welcome Trailrunner,Ive nothing but respect for your profession.
Question: Can you imagine tv reporters NoB trying to interview paramedics while they're trying to save someone's life,I see it all the time here on GDL Noticias and how about the drivers here who don't pull over to the right when there's an ambulance with lights and siren going coming up behind them?WTF.

Nah, they often don't pull over - not here, not there, probably not anywhere. I've even been given the rigid digit a few times. I remember those faces, they're the ones that get the 14 guage needle when I see them again.

NOB the press, if they're not on scene, call the firehouse or EMS agency at the end of the day for their stories. Amazing how their stories compare to what actually happened! I learned early on not to talk to the press.

I LOVE that guy on GDL Noticias!!! He's such a ghoul! lol
