Just pulled up the menu and can't find BBQ Ribs.......Is this special only?.....what day?

I was there on Friday and they had them. They do have a different special every day of the week. If its the Ribs your making the trip for it probably wouldn't hurt to phone ahead. Their menu doesn't have a phone number on it but you can find it here:

Well, some of their stff is pretty good but unless things have changed their idea of a Chimmi is a burrito toasted in a pan with a little oil, not deep fried. I also ordered their Huevos Rancheros & I got two fried eggs on a plate, not on tortillas, & no ranchero sauce....When I questioned Ish about it, he tried to tell me that their many ways of making huevos rancheros. I hate it when someone tries to blow smoke up my.....

Gloria and Ish have to go back to the US for 2 weeks. They will be closed starting on the 11th, and will reopen on the 25TH

Good luck if you can find better ribs than Tony's or Bruno's. IMO, They are the best.

Gloria & Ishmiele run a little mom/pop operation towards the lake in El Chante... they're probably to small for a swarm...
but they are terrific people and Gloria's cooking is great... everything is good

Have you ever eaten the ribs there John? Or are you just ranting about a place you've never been to?...Like you did with Gossip's Kitchen.

Gloria phoned this morning and wanted to let everyone know that she had a bad fall and is having trouble walking. She and Ish will be in the US for another 2 weeks while her knee heals. She should be back about the 2nd week in Oct. and will reopen then.

Had ribs at Gloria's with a friend and they in fact are very good.

Marty, if you talk to Gloria again, please tell her that Barbara y Kathi y Juanita y Sher send her our wishes for a quick recovery.

I talked to Gloria yesterday and she wanted to let everyone know that the Café will be open again starting the first week in March.
