Reservoir levels
A couple of years back someone posted a link to a Government site showing reservoir levels and or capacity in the area. If anyone has that link I would sure appreciate it as I can't find it at all.
Re: Reservoir levels
There may be a link in this wikipedia info. I didn't go through the whole thing:

Re: Reservoir levels
Thanks... I took a quick look at the link and there is a chance the water levels are going to be in there somewhere. It's going to take some time to sort through all of it but a good place to start.
Re: Reservoir levels
Go to Chapalaweather.net and click on the "CEA Lake Info" link on the left.

Re: Reservoir levels
I'm not looking for Chapala lake level. As stated in the OP I'm look for all the reservoirs in the area's capacity, or percent of capacity.

It can't be good, our rainy season went south about 3 weeks ago.
Much worse in the U.S. southwest. Near complete rainy season failure there.

Hey there........you been outside today???
In my morning lakeside walk, I spotted clumps of lirio....which usually means they're getting outside water from the dams.

Re: Reservoir levels
The reason I got interested in knowing this is because of an article I read in the Guad Reporter. A lot of reservoirs are at the point of dumping water but the problem is they end up in the Solis Dam which is only 30% full. I know there is some lirio showing up in the lake which is a sign of water being released but it doesn't tell how much water or the sources.
Re: Reservoir levels
Machs nix: the water flows out the Lerma. Tons of Lirio flowed toward Joca all weekend. It took more than a trickle to do that.

Don't give up yet. Our arroyo was flowing first time today.
And we're 8" behind last years rainy season.

Re: Reservoir levels
Anyone driven by the lake at Lagos recently? That one was basically empty, it was shocking to see it like that in May.

One of the reservoirs at Lagos de Moreno is @ 99%
At the end of July 2011 = 18.67" and 2012 18.97"
I wonder where John sees the missing 8"?

As with politics, it would be over his head for you to try explain that "complicated" information.

My mistake, I was comparing year end totals instead of July YTD totals as you have.David wrote:One of the reservoirs at Lagos de Moreno is @ 99%
