Couldn't post the pictures, so here's a link to the damage in Riberas, up from Mom's and also what Centro Laguna looks like

Friend of ours in Mirasol had a brick wall next to a mirador blow down and fall on the house next door, fracturing the roof there.

I don't know how we did it, but we managed to have zero tiles blown and zero damage to the solar pool panels. Pool was sure a mess, though. Just got done cleaning that up.

We had a large potted plant go into the pool but that was about it.

I wasn't surprised to see the canopy at Centro Laguna in tatters again.
They need to find an alternative to that fabric canopy.

But, the concrete power pole in Riberas combined with the sizable tree.
Wow, that was something I wasn't expecting to see.

And the worst part is not hardly any rain.

All is perspective, juanrey:

As Dawg was watching Warren Beatty´s BUGSY on AMC HD last night, I am grateful for no rain since I get rain fade on my Shaw satellite and I would have missed watching Meyer Lansky´s goons mow Bugsy down after a disastrous opening night at The Flamingo Casino in Vegas back in the 40s (or 50s).

That wind storm started out sounding and feeling like a true disaster like that nearly all day semi-hurricane we had here about ten years ago that was scary as hell. That windstorm ten years ago was also dry and even cloudless. We are lucky this one was of short duration.

Our garden, with its tall trees was a disaster this morning and I was grateful to Dios that we employ a full-time gardener or we would have been cleaning up for days.
