This is one of the most beautiful parks we have ever seen. Absolutely amazing. There is also a large Trout hatchery within the park. Guess what we had for lunch?

I love Uruapan...I think the country side is gorgeous and the park is AMAZING. I can't remember the name of the restaurant by the park that we ate at.... but I DO remember that the trout was the best I'd ever had.

I know they were having a lot of trouble with the cartels a while back..have things improved?

It is a spectacular park and we spent many hours meandering through it. We stayed in the hotel at the beginning of the park...where the water shoots out of the ground with incredible force from under a big rock. The use of that force of water creates all those water spectacles and falls within the park itself. Incredibly beautiful and ingenious.
Uruapan is also the avocado capital of Mexico.
Nice memories for us.
