Mexican card games
Okay I'm back from my horse camping trip, tired but happy and in good shape. Few of the residents who live up in the mountains knows about what has been going on down here. On Saturday they slaughtered a pig and we had a big fiesta. On Sunday was the arrival of the traveling statue of the virgin from Ajijic which besides the "parade" included a special church service with another fiesta afterwards, that was bierria or goat. A bishop and padre arrived in a Lincoln Navigator. Also tried mondongo which was out of this world yummy, I will definitely go for that next time when they are grossing out the tourists. Of course there was plenty of pajarete on all days.
But my point here is that I learned how to play a Mexican card game called Conquian, it was fun and there's a little gambling and strategy involved and yes I cleaned up. Plus got better at my cursing and making barbed comments in Spanish when I was holding a card someone had wanted. LOL
Anybody know of other Mexican card games I can brush up on?

They explained that menudo includes stomach too, whereas mondongo was only the intestines.

Never found dry ice, but Jim W promised that a good cooler will last 5 days. And it did.
