Dona's Donuts

Is Dona's Donuts still an early-morning gathering place for our guys at Lakeside? I have a male-type coming to visit in July; I work mornings and thought it would be great if he had a place to go with more male-types.

If this is still the gathering place, what time do all the guys congregate!

Also are there any other places I can send him where he can be around a bunch of guys instead of around me and my friends, who are almost exclusively female?

Send him there or the LCS coffee shop from 10 to 12 in the morning is
quite a social place. Both good places to meet folks and hang.

How old is your friend?

Yeah, and what are his interests? There is tennis, volleyball, golf, hiking group, wandering around and hanging out, etc.

Is he going to want to sit around listening to old gringo gossip?

He'd probably like hiking, maybe volleyball, definitely wandering around and hanging out. He can figure out these things on his own once I can point him in the right direction to make some contacts.

There's also the Hash House Harriers, a walking group that meets at La Nueva Posada on Saturday mornings at 8:30 a.m. They walk for about 1/2 hour and then have breakfast in the garden.

Bunch of guys go to Salvadore's around 8:30AM on Wednesdays and Sundays, I believe.
