Mom's

The frozen dinners available at Mom's are REALLY good. They have been a lifesaver for me the last three weeks while I have moved house, set up new house and cared for an ill hubby.
She does not stint on ingredients either and all that we have tried have been tasty, filling and easy to prepare. They are all natural with no preservatives or msg. She also makes wonderful coleslaw and potato salad.
Chicken pot pie, chicken enchiladas, beef stew and beef lasagna are those that we've tried and recommend. The portions are either for one very hungry person or are good for two with a green or caesar salad and some bread.

Taking this advice I stopped by Saturday and ordered a liter of potato salad and a half liter of slaw to go with some ribs at home.
Price 175 pesos. Thats $12.50 @ 14 to 1.
Never again.

That's more than the US fer chrissakes. These places love to screw you on the little stuff. I ate at Mom's once, NEVER again. Food quality sucked. Cannot compare to PANINO.

I didn't say I liked the restaurant John...I recommended their frozen entrees. Each to his/her own.
Georgetoo...wow, that's a pile of potato salad and coleslaw that you bought. Must of been quite a party. Besides complaining about the price, did you enjoy the taste of both?

Mom's is well over my budget for the quality and quantity that is served, also. And she does not seem to cater to the health conscious in any way. Potential cardiac arrest in almost everything. ALMOST EVERYTHING. Not everything. chico
