Almond Milk
Love, love, love almond milk in my coffee & with cold cereal!
soak 1 cup of bland almonds in some sort of purified water overnight and drain before blending w/water.
blend w/3 cups of purified water
1 tsp Mexican vanilla
after fully blending almonds in water till milky looking, strain pulp/almond meat out of the milk and add vanilla...this is sooo good! Better than Coffemate which was one of the last processed items I was trying to get out of my diet. It's only good for a few days/store in the refrigerator.
I've read that you can use the meat as a gluten free flour in crackers. Has anyone ever tried it?
