Information needed

Laguna Chapala needs the help of the Lake Chapala area community. We are in to process of developing a map of medical facilities, government or private, in the area with driving directions to them. This will include both clinics and hospitals, in both the immediate area and all the way to Guadalajara. Have a look at what has been started via the link below. Clicking the "how to" link on the page will give you an email address to send us GPS co-ordinates if you know them. If not you will find instructions on how to send us the info we need via Google Maps. Thanks for all your help in making LCDC a more complete resource for the area.

Are you and your friends planning to take responsibiliy for sending sick folks to clinics and hospitals run by imbeciles? Are you willing to accept this responsibility by publishing their names and addresses and endorsing these places with which are unfamiliar and plan to send halfwits? I will take out your gall bladder for a reasonable fee but if I mistankenly take out your pancreas then you can go f*ck yourself, pintbrain.

How long have you lived in Mexico and if you have lived here for much time, where do you buy your blinders? This is the land of no responsibility and you can take my word for that but, welcome to the operating table and hope for a recovery. Otherwise, say hello to Jesus or Allah.

Dawg... You have absolutely no concept of what I am trying to provide here. Nowhere, after selecting a location on the map do you see a recommendation related to that facility, and you never will. You're more of an idiot than I had previously thought if you think that driving directions are a recommendation as to the quality of service of a facility. I've stopped reading your useless posts a long time ago but now I now realize I would just as soon never accidentally look at another one. I have never in my life felt the need to put anyone on a forum foe list. But for you I have made an exception.

To everyone else, sorry for the rant. I look forward to any location information you might send and putting together a complete map with as many facilities as possible on it. I'm going to do other types of maps as well. (Government, shopping centers, etc.) But one project at a time.

Albert....In Jocotepec, Seguro Popular Drs and Clinic is located in the Centro du Salud on Moreles, Nunuz Clinic is located on Vicente Gurrerro, Dr Teresa'slinic is located also on Moreles. Hope this helps.

Thanks Martygraw. As I get to Joco 2 or 3 times a week it is going to be easy to find those locations and get them on. I've been to Dr. Teresa many times so she's an easy one.

Hey Martygraw, Where about's is Centro du Salud on Moreles located. I was up that way a few days ago on the bike and was too busy missing pedestrians that I never did find it. (Looking for the SP clinic) Yesterday was a lost cause as Moreles was closed while they were investigating the shooting.

I will appreciate having a map/guide. I will make my own choices as to where I go using that map. thank you

Albert....if you go north on Matamoros to Moreles, turn left on Moreles......Centro de Salud is aprox 1/2 block on the right hand side.

Thanks again. I finally found it. I go up Matamoros weekly and turn left at the corner. For some strange reason I always look left at that point and have never seen the clinic before. Glad you threw in a look right.

I'm still hoping to get some location information for hospitals in Guad so they can be added to the map. Many people using GPS's to get where they are going would have co-ordinates saved in the unit and it would be great to get that information.
