home gym equipment

Don't get me wrong -- I'm *feeble*. But I'd like to become less so. A StairMaster and an (easily adjusted) weight machine would be nice. But I don't know GDL. The Outlet Stores Mall to the SW? Best Buy? CosCo? A specialty store?

*Is* there a functional yellow pages for GDL? Or is it out-of-date, impenetrable, and all on-line anyway?

I saw a used weight machine at the thrift shop on the north side of the careterra in SAT. Sorry I don't know the name of the shop but it is close to S&S Auto.

If you don't find used... try Costco in Guad... it's easy to find...

Not long ago I tangled with a "designated destination expert" on TripAdvisor about her use of the term "Guad". She fired back at me that SAT was acceptable. We have all been through this before and some of us agree to disagree!

We are going to Costco Sunday.....will check out the equipment and post prices, etc. If you decide to buy from costco, you can order thru Lakeside express, and they will deliver to your front door.

Costco didn't have any free weights or benches. They had a Nordica BR5000 Eliptica @ 3899.00....others up to 14,900.00

Usually the hardest exercise folks have with home gyms is trying to sell it again...

It's in the next block east, on the north side of the Carreterra, of S&S Auto, Bubba's Restaurant and Puritan Poultry. Three shops: One for the Deaf School, next is the Ninos Incapacitos and the last one is a retail artifacts shop. The middle one has the gym equipment; big sucker and been there awhile. Another kind came in last week. Maybe you can made a deal by now. I think there is a gym equipment store next to Soriana's in Chapala, also.

Yep, I agree that big sucker would be ripe for the picking as it won't likely sell fast. I have my eye on that guitar amp they have in there but it is too high priced at this point.......maybe in a few more weeks they will be willing to unload it for less.

Maybe John will chip in to get some extra tunes around the ol' homestead.

Greg, I know roof bob.....he can show you how to use the weights LOL....If you are here check the barbar bazar....and all similar, or check out the local gyms .....very cheap.....plus exercise getting there..... and after

Looking for an Axe. I left my son a nice fender guitar amp and a smaller Peavy amp because I didn't want to drag them down...........
