the instructions with the tax forms are quite clear and simple for someone who has been doing them fer years. the biggest hassel was converting a zillion medical receipts from pesos to cdn $ on the date they were issued but there is a bank of canada site that does this. that and making copies of all of them,doctors, hospitals, dentistry,drugs took the longest.

In actual fact, TurboTax started in Canada with Intuit software out of Edmonton, Alberta. So, I guess you could say it is Canadian software that has an American version!

I have used it for several years and it is quite good and very simple, but I don't believe it has a version for non-residents.

Intuit Software provided me with many of the "C" language functions which I used in the 1990's to develop software.

I should also have mentioned that their main claim to fame is Quicken (later Quickbooks) accounting software.
