Mexico President Felipe Calderon's message to US: 'No more weapons!'

"CIUDAD JUAREZ, Mexico — President Felipe Calderon on Thursday unveiled a "No More Weapons!" billboard made with crushed firearms and placed near the U.S. border. He urged the United States to stop the flow of weapons into Mexico.

The billboard, which is in English and weighs 3 tons, was placed near an international bridge in Ciudad Juarez and can be seen from the United States.

'Mexico needs your help'
Calderon said the billboard's letters were made with weapons seized by local, state and federal authorities............................................

That should be about as effective as a billboard made of crushed pot leaves saying"No Mas Drogas"that can be seen from Mexico.

I also understand that many of the illegally held weapons in Mexico come from the deserters of their own military. I would suggest they start by holding their military personal accountable for their weapons with very quick and lengthy prison terms.

That sign is a joke like the drug war. As long as they keep using drugs NOB there will always be illegal smuggling. Legalize drugs and get some tax revenue. How dumb is the US Congress?
