Opthamologists

Due to some recent complications , I have to ask this question. I have a history of opthamological problems in my eyes including retinal tears and over the years have had several laser surgeries that have preserved my vision. About a week and a half ago I had a viscus detachment and once again needed the opinions and care of a top notch retinal specialist here in the Chicago area. Fortunately due to earlier preventative laser surgury that I had several years ago at the Princton Eye Clinic, I am going to be OK, this time. My question is this. Are there top notch retinal specialists available in the lakeside or Guad area that could keep tabs on my eyes from time to time or help in the case of an emergency? Thanks. I would not have asked, but this turns out to be a continuing problem for me (something I had hoped had been taken care of).

mrum, you might want to PM Dr Juan directly and see if he has any recommendations. He is a very nice gentleman, I saw him when I was there last month. Although he is a medical doctor, he works in Guad as well as lakeside and may have some recommendations for you. Worth a try....

I have several recomendations for Ophtalmologist (In México City, in Guadalajara, in Queretaro, and finaly in Tépic) cause there is where the doctors work, but i need to see you first and evaluate the situation.
