Monday Market at Hole in One

homemade clam chowder, red and white, tomorrow at the Monday Market from 10-12:00 - today Dec. 5

Saw it last week, seems pretty costly to me, 30 p for a 6 oz cup of manhattan, 40 p for the new england. Practically no vegetables, just a few potatoes. Can get it cheaper in a restaurant and be sitting in a nice place eating it. Sad when eating in costs more then eating out.
I believe other things have gone up in price since they started. Too bad, can get take out from any restaurant down here.

Yes, I went today and found that the prices of what I bought had increased over last week. I don't think New England has veggies - just potatoes and onions. But I have never made it - usually buy canned.

Yes, that is true of NE Clam Chowder, but it does have bacon in it, should see the bits and pieces.
Manhattan CC has got carrots, (very inexpensive) in it in addition to the potatoes and tomatoes, (which get cooked down).
