Unique New Furniture Design

Admittedly we happen to be partial to some sun designs so often found in interior decor in Mexico. Last trip, we ran into some furniture that caught our eyes in Tonala. This furniture is actually manufactured in Zapopan and the guy's wife runs their outlet in Tonala. I personally would have to question the comfort of the dining chairs as they may fall into the "looks great but uncomfortable category". On looks alone, these do make a statement:

Wow, I really like that stuff.

The interesting thing is that the table base and the wall units are all wired for touch control (dimming) of the lights - simply touch the metal parts. Not a style for everyone but it was attractive and definitely unique. I don't remember exactly what the pricing was but as I remember, we felt that it was reasonable for the items we looked at. We had to beg to take fotos as they had signs all over their shop that fotos were not allowed.

I LOVE the lighted wall sun! Not too keen on the comfort aspects of the chairs and find that many suns to be distracting. Each to his/her own...wouldn't want to dust 'em either.

I like all the elements of sun/moon/wind that are represented in Mexican art. Wouldn't it be spectacular to have a piece of wall art representing wind that was actually a fan? The bands representing wind could be beveled in certain directions to distribute the cool air.
