Delivery service.

Does any one know of a service that would pick up a mattress at Sorianas and deliver it to our house about 10 blocks away? We've been doing fine without a car here, but a mattress on my back is a little more than I can handle.

Or just find someone in the parking lot with a pick-up truck and offer them 200 pesos to take it to your place. I'm sure someone would jump at the opportunity.

Thanks for the offer Jim (and Happy Birthday!) and the suggestion Bob. We talked to the good people at Sorianas and they delivered the mattress within the hour at no charge!

From personal experience, stores in Guadalajara, Tlaquepaque and Tonala have access to someone who will make deliveries to the Lake area at a generally reasonable cost. In fact, when we had custom wrought furniture built in Tonala, that service was included in the original cost and not an add on.
