With all these posts about lost dogs, I wish they made easy GPS tracking devices for the little devils.

They do have tracking devices in the US but I don't think they are here yet.
The owner thinks Keeper has been hit by a car or fell. Someone in Chula Vista found him and took him in for the night. So he goes to the vet tomorrow.

FYI: the GPS satellites cover most of the globe including Mexico! Our Garmin GPS works quite ell in MX and that would be the same technology with pet tracking. It is just a matter of doing some research and finding the system that works for the pet owner providing they are willing to pay.

Since we don't currently own a pet, I didn't do all that much reading on the various systems but I did spot some where the unit was hidden in a heavy nylon web collar. Won't do much good if someone were to remove the collar. Some of the systems did their tracking and locating through an app in a smart phone.
