Willi is missing

I am posting this for a friend, I have copied her words from tob.

Last night someone opened my gate and allowed all the dogs out. They all came back except the Bassett Hound, Willi. He is a one year old neutered male, very friendly, loves children. He is white with a black saddle, brown face and long brown ears. He is wearing a beige collar with a red ID disc on it. A possible sighting of him was at 8.00 a.m. in front of Donas Donuts. He was on a leash held by what appeared to be a poor man asking for food.
We live on Juarez in Ajijic. I have searched the neighborhood and the neighbors have all been notified as well, but I fear that he is out of the neighborhood now.
If anyone hears of a Bassett for sale or sees one in the community, would you please call me at 766 4738?

Tell you friend to post signs around the neighborhood saying:

Recompensa with a photo of the dog. Also their phone number. My friend did this and got her dog back immediately. Kids will go look for it. She paid them 500 pesos.

I just sent you a PM. Possible sighting.

WILLI IS HOME!!!!!

One of the town drunks had him on the Ajijic Plaza last night. The owner had gotten a call and went down and picked Willi up.

"All's well that ends well!"

What a relief! Love happy endings.

Glad to hear the dog was recovered....maybe the "town drunk" was just trying to help a lost dog.

He might have been lonely and just needed a hug and kiss...

I would like to add a correction, it wasn't one of the town drunks, it was the guy from under the bridge. You can read about him on tob, he is homeless and jobless at the moment. He was attempting to find the owners. I am sorry if I gave you the impression he was up to no good.
