Francisco Blake Mora
The Mexican Interior Secretary and #2 behind President Calderon was killed along with 7 others today outside of Mexico City. In this position he was responsible for internal political affairs and security. Interestingly, on November 4th of 2008, Juan Camilo Mourino, also the Interior Secretary was killed in a small plane crash in Mexico City. Not that I am a conspiracy theorist but the similarities could be suspicious?

I'm a conspiracy investigator, not a theorist, and this is the second crash in 3 years. Something does not appear to be quite right here, although helicopters are notoriously dangerous.

I was talking to a business contact via Skype when it came across the news in Michoacan. He said mention was made of possible fog in the area. The position of Interior Secretary appears to have some problems with flying - two out of the last three killed in aviation accidents?????

Check out some of the mysterious crashes in U.S. aviation history.
This doesn't look good, but maybe there was fog. Maybe we should check the weather channel.

Re: Francisco Blake Mora
First reports say pilot error -- following too close behind a big jet and getting twisted by the turbulence. Let's see if that story holds.

Wasn't that the excuse in the first plane crash?

It was. BTW Mexico City had some cloudy weather earlier, and a chance of precipitation, so maybe there was some fog.

Re: Francisco Blake Mora
I subscribe to STRATFOR (stategic forecast), their read was - within the timeline of this flight the cartels had neither the info, the planning ability, the access, or, the gear to pull this one off. They would have had maybe 30 hrs. to pull it off. That being said, the president was scheduled on the same chopper, same day, next flight. Hmmmmm - for all you conspiracy theorists. My read, it was a fluke, and my condolences to the families of the deceased. A sad day for the Mx people.

The article which follows MAY answer some of the questions which have come up? On the surface, it appears to be the most comprehensive report that I have seen on this incident:

How about you entertain us all with your very own rank speculations?
Carry on Dawg.
