For Ale People......
Have you guy noticed Walmart in Ajijic is carrying Minerva Stout in six packs for 110 pesos a six pack? They have been
also carrying single beers and ales from Belguim and Germany for 25 pesos a bottle. Article in guad reporter about it and
wow is it nice to have a Stout once in a while. Drinking one now! Hope Wal Mart brings in the Minerva Pale ale soon and
this guy will be very happy. I like mexican beer but most of it tastes very much the same. I find Leon and Negro Modelo
to be pretty good but I can't taste the difference between Sun/Montego/Pacifico/Corona. Yes Indio and Superior taste
different but I don't like them. A german friend of mine had some wickedly good 7.6% India Pale Ale (think of a pale ale
with a mucho hoppy taste)with me at El Figon in Ajijic. Any other Ale guys around here and anyone willing to start a
homebrew club? Mexican laws have changed and getting the materials is not restricted like it use to be and ale making
is fun!! FYI It is very easy to make good pale ale or IPA. Good materials and being spotless is all that is needed.

No the stout is not quite guiness. Guiness has a little more carbonation and is a little more velvety but it is
very drinkable. The pale ale has won awards but I have not tried it. I know I am a heritic but I actually like
Murphys better than Guiness.
